Description

In this month-long course, learn about zines, how to make them, and how to distribute them, including how to monetize them.

Please register for this event here.

All you need to participate is access to Google Meet (so a phone, computer, or tablet and a Google account). As far as zine-making materials go, you can use whatever you have available to you—whether that’s a pencil and paper or the whole craft supply store.

Tuesday October 8, 2024 7:00-8:30pm ET — Welcome and Intro to Zines

Tuesday October 15, 2024 7:00-8:30pm ET — Zine-making techniques

Tuesday October 22, 2024 7:00-8:30pm ET — Getting your zine into the world

Tuesday October 29, 2024 7:00-8:30pm ET — Final showcase

It is alright if you can’t attend every session, just let the event organizer know in your registration form.

At the end, we will have a zine swap amongst participants so that everyone can see each other’s work and grow their own zine collections.
